Over the next week a randomly selected sample of Year 4, 5 and 6 learners will participate in the ACER ISA assessments. The International Schools’ Assessment (ISA) is a high-quality assessment used by international schools and schools with an international focus to monitor student performance over time and to confirm that their internal assessments are aligned with international expectations of performance.

If you would like to find out more about the ISA assessments, please contact Justin Potter or Paul Beach. If you do not want your child to be included in the random selection, please let us know by Monday, 1 October.
We will share the main findings in January 2019 when the data is fully analysed against all the other schools taking part.
Immunization is an important way of protecting your child against many communicable diseases, which may have severe or life threatening complications.
Immunization schedules vary across the globe. Multinational hubs such as Singapore, often schedule a larger number of doses of some vaccines (such as DPT) to ensure effective immunity within a more transient population. To view the Singapore Immunization Schedule click here.
Within Singapore, it is mandatory by law to be vaccinated against Diptheria (included in the DPT vaccine) and Measles (included in the MMR vaccine). Any person not vaccinated against these diseases should see their family doctor for vaccinations as soon as possible, or to seek a medical exemption letter.
Within school, we ask that all parents and guardians ensure that your child’s immunizations are up to date, and the latest copy of the records are submitted to Student Services or the School Clinic. If you have any questions, please feel free to discuss this with the School Nurses.
