How Kindness Can Change Lives
In a couple of weeks, some of our Year 4 and Year 5 learners will be involved in the Nexus Global Children's Summit online. They will be connecting with other learners from around the globe - including our sister school, Nexus International School Malaysia.
Our learners have been preparing stories of kindness to present and share. Despite the challenges faced globally, the learners will inspire and empower others to change their mindsets, words and actions and promote an awareness of how our choice of actions impacts lives.

Determined to continue with the traditions of the Nexus Christmas Fair, our Year 12 and 13 CAS learners have taken the challenge to make it virtual!
Visit the online Christmas Fair to start your Christmas shopping from Wednesday 1 December until Friday 3 December. You will be supporting worthy charities such as Pipal Tree, Tabitha Foundation and Room to Read amongst others. A range of stalls and activities accompanied by music from our Year 12 band! You can also buy a limited edition Nexus Christmas mug ready for your hot chocolate and carols on Friday, 10 December!
Purchased items will be delivered to learners in their homeroom during the week beginning 6 December.

As the festive season is upon us, it is time to start opening the little doors of our advent calendar. This year, we have put together another batch of wonderful festive tasks for you all to enjoy through the month of December. It could be making decorations, a great family activity or going on a Christmas lights tour around Singapore.

Christmas has arrived this week at NEXUS! Over 950 learners participated in the recording for this year's Christmas carols. Due to COVID restrictions (predominantly no singing for unvaccinated learners and the cancellation of music ensembles), the music team has once again been innovative in our approach to our annual Carols concert; and for 2021, we bring to our NEXUS families the NEXMAS Sing-a-long.
On Friday, 10 December at 6pm, we would like to invite our NEXUS families whether you are still in Singapore or if you have departed early to be with family to log onto Nexus' Facebook page and join in the fun. We promise to bring to you the good old classics such as Rudolph and Jingle bells as well as some popular songs 'Last Christmas' and even 'Winter Wonderland'.
Each year group has been busy in their music lessons rehearsing so that we could provide our learners with the opportunity to perform on our auditorium stage. For many, this is the first time they have performed and they all demonstrated such confidence, enthusiasm and professionalism. The music team are so proud of each and everyone of them.
Flag the 10th December in your diaries, set your alarm clocks, gather the family on the sofa, get the Christmas choccies and mince pies out and tune in at 6pm!
