Our Christmas Fair is brimming with excitement — explore stalls from external vendors and learners. Enjoy bouncing on inflatables, games, arts and crafts, Santa's Grotto, face painting, and much more. It's a celebration that promises fun for everyone! There are also so many opportunities to get festive with lots of music presented by our amazing Nexus Musicians and community.
For convenience, we will once again be running a token-based system for payments at the fair. Tokens will be on sale from 1 Dec by the Eco Cafe both in the morning and in the afternoon. Tokens are worth $1 each and can be used across the fair. Payment for tokens can be made by PayNow or cash. If you aren't able to be in school, you can also order your tokens using this link.

Who will be Nexus Young Musician of the Year 2023/24. Last year this was open to all Secondary learners this year it will be bigger than ever splitting into 3 categories across the whole school. Exam grades 1-2; 3-5 and Grades 6+. We are looking for a vocalist, guitarist, pianist and instrumentalist in all 3 categories. Do you have the talent? Are you willing to take a risk and enter?
If you haven't taken an exam - no worries, just ask your instrumental tutor what category you should enter!!!
Round 1 is due in Term 3 - 13th February. Which seems a long way off however you will need to start selecting a song and beginning to practise.
If you have any questions drop by the music office.
Many of you will be aware that we have run a PJs day for epilepsy awareness day for several years.
This initiative is organised and run by one of our Year 11 learners who has shared their own journey with epilepsy.
This year our PJs for Epilepsy Awareness Day will be the last day of term, Friday, 15 December, with learners welcome to wear their Pjs (Christmas or otherwise).
A small donation of $2 from PJ Day participants is welcomed. This money is donated to and greatly appreciated by the Epilepsy Care Group (Singapore).
Book Week isn't until next term, but we know advance notification of book character dress up is always welcome!
We will be celebrating Book Week 15 - 19 January 2024, the second week of Term 3.
As always the week will be filled with exciting activities and culminate in our dress-up day, where learners and staff dress as one of their favourite book characters (Friday 19 January).
This has traditionally been a dress-up that has produced some of the most interesting and exciting costumes, we encourage everyone to get involved.
This year's theme is Journey Between Worlds - we look forward to seeing the characters!
