We are very excited to announce our upcoming Nexus Beats event on Thursday 30th May from 5:00pm to 7:15pm. After the success of our Blackbird event earlier in the year we have decided to scale it up to a larger venue as an end of year celebration of talent.
With the event so late in the term we are hoping that learners, families and staff would join us to celebrate the end of a fantastic school year with our superb Nexus bands.
Timbre Plus is a large food court/hawker style eatery and music venue renowned for its impressive stage, equipment and quality live music.
Our learners have had an amazing year with our instrumental tutors learning and honing their skills with their respective instruments. Many of our learners were instrumentalists in our numerous concerts, performances, and recitals that have taken place throughout the year.
Each tutor will conclude this academic year with a soirée each with a selection of their learners. Respective parents of the performing learners are invited to attend these soirées. These informal performances serve as a more casual platform for learners to perform to one another, to learn from each other; giving learners the opportunity to perform in a more intimate setting. All the soirées will take place in the orchestra/ensemble music room (L01-E.062) in the Music Department. Please refer to the below timings:

Come and join us as we celebrate our exhibition journey. The learners have been exploring how to best share their personal inquiries. The exhibition is just the tip of the iceberg and a chance to help you question your own thoughts and ideas.
Please note: Learners must leave campus at 3:20pm and return with parents at 5:30pm.
Year 6 learners and their parents will have a chance to hear from Ms Sarah, the Year 7 Area Leader before the children head off on a new adventure into secondary school over the next two days. During this time, they will be introduced to the schedule and classes of a secondary school.
What a great way to cap off a terrific week.
Our final celebration before we finish primary school and head off on our next adventure. This will be a chance for all learners and their parents to look back and celebrate what was, and what will be in the future.
We are excited to invite you to a gallery walk showcasing the hard work and creativity of our Year 8 learners. The theme revolves around Singapore’s culture where learners have explored the statement of inquiry: Identity and way of life can be shaped by resources and interactions between world cultures.
Date: June 6th
Time: 1:20-2:20 pm
Location: Level 2 Atrium
Upon returning from their field trip to the National Museum of Singapore, our learners, inspired by their collected observations and reflections, created their own exhibitions on a chosen aspect of Singapore culture. During this gallery walk your child will present their museum exhibition floor plans and will explain their submitted proposals, which is the culmination of their group's collective creative thinking. This gallery walk also allows learners to showcase their research and presentation skills. We encourage you to engage with your child's project, ask questions, and witness their growth as creative & critical thinkers.

Whether it's sweaters, pants, shirts, t-shirts or any other clothing articles, your contributions will be greatly appreciated. Please help us spread the word about this initiative by sharing the details with your friends, family. Your support in promoting this event within our community will ensure its success and make a positive impact on teenagers who are less fortunate.
It's important to note that shorts and sleeveless shirt sadly will not be accepted so please be mindful when you bring your unneeded clothes.
Drop-off locations will be near the parents lounge. You should look for a table outside of the parents lounge.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of underprivileged teenagers in our community.
Warm regards,
Denis Nikolenko, Morgan Chisholm and Keijiro Kobayashi (Year 9)
