PYP Exhibition

Our Y6 learners are currently very busy with their PYP Exhibition.

The Year 6 PYP (Primary Years Programme) exhibition is a culminating event in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme. It serves as a platform for learners to showcase the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they have developed throughout their time in the programme.

During the exhibition, learners select a central theme or inquiry question that is of personal interest to them. They then conduct in-depth research and investigation into this topic, exploring various perspectives and gathering information from a range of sources.

The exhibition process is highly learner-driven, with learners taking ownership of their inquiries and projects. They engage in collaborative and independent inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving, reflecting the IB's emphasis on inquiry-based learning and the development of key transdisciplinary skills.

Learners present their findings and projects to their peers, teachers, and parents during the exhibition event. This presentation can take various forms, including oral presentations, multimedia displays, and hands-on demonstrations. It provides an opportunity for learners to articulate their learning journey, share their insights, and demonstrate their understanding of the chosen topic.
