We want to send a huge thank you to Lakshmi and the team of parents who organised such an incredible few days for our learners to celebrate Deepavali. Students were able to take part in a variety of activities from dancing to food tasting and from henna to rangoli. It was clear to see how much the learners enjoyed the event, and they even got to see some very special parents take part in a special dance performance! Thank you so much!
'Nexmas Around The World' is quickly approaching on the 8 December. We are now looking for volunteers to help on the day of the fair. You can help out either in the running of a stall, games and activities, face painting or elsewhere around the event. Someone will be there to direct you and it will only be a 1-2 hour commitment on the day, allowing you time to enjoy the fair with your family too. If you are able to commit, please complete this form.
We are still collecting donations to help us create a truly spectacular Christmas extravaganza! There is a blue box in the eco cafe where donations can be left, or you can leave them with Learner Services/in the Parent Lounge. Please help us by donating any of the following:
cardboard tubes from kitchen rolls, aluminium foil etc
cardboard boxes
good quality second-hand toys and books (to be sold at the toy & book stall)
unwanted Halloween candy
party bag items
working Christmas lights
old Christmas decorations
wrapping Paper
Looking for some new decorations this year, or perhaps a gift to send to loved ones? The NCG will be creating personalised baubles that can be collected at the Christmas Fair on 8 December. Each bauble is 8cm in diameter and contains 1 personalised text per bauble. They will come individually packaged and can be opened completely so that you can take them home and insert small gifts or treats should you want to.
Baubles are transparent and text colours are available in matt white, matt black, glitter red or copper-gold.
To order your bauble, use this form or scan the QR code attached.
