Year 8 Museum Visit
The Year 8 learners embarked on a trip to the Peranakan Museum and The National Museum of Singapore. This day allowed our learners to explore the rich cultural heritage and historical significance of our country and proved to be a transformative experience for our learners. It sparked their curiosity, broadened their perspectives, and deepened their appreciation for Singapore’s cultural heritage. The hands-on learning and direct exposure to historical artifacts and artworks had a profound impact on their understanding of the subjects they have been studying. We are confident that this experience will continue to inspire and motivate them in their academic journey.
In addition to exploring the exhibits, our learners were busy preparing for their upcoming summative assessment. Learners were tasked to curate a museum exhibition for a chosen Singapore culture. Their challenge in the following weeks is to display how a chosen aspect of life in Singapore has been influenced by global interactions.
