What is happening in Year 12?

1. Ongoing 1:1 university counsellor meetings throughout Term 4. Learners are working on a personalised plan ahead of university applications next year. 

2. May/ June Lunchtime Focus Sessions: 

• Applying to Medicine Part 2

• Applying to the US, Canada and the UK

• Writing the UCAS Personal Statement

• Writing US College Essays

• Oxbridge Applications

• Alternative Pathways

3. University reflection sessions with all Year 12 learners every Friday morning in the Common Room. 

Mini University Fair 

We were delighted to host a mini university fair in the IB Common Room last month. Our Year 12 learners had an opportunity to meet with the five following universities:

Full Sail University, Florida, USA 

Full Sail is one of the premier art, music, and film schools in the world. Full Sail University offers campus and online degree programs that are designed for the world of entertainment media and emerging technologies.

IE University, Spain 

IE University ranks top 3 in the world for Business Education. Founded in 1973 by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs, IE evolved and grew over the years, while honouring their commitment to the core values. 

ESSEC Business School, France & Singapore

It has been a pioneer of business-related learning since 1907, ESSEC’s mission is to respond  to the challenges of the future. North Central College, Naperville, USA
