Your child’s Semester 2 Learning Summary was published on Wednesday. It is ready to view via the Parent Portal on Engage. To access the Parent Portal you will need your unique login and password provided to you by Learner Services.
Please take time to read the information provided on the first two pages as it will help you to better understand the content of the Learning Summary and share its contents with your child. For learners leaving at the end of this term, do note that you will need to view/download your child's Learning Summary before your Parent Portal account closes.

If your child is joining Nursery or Kindergarten, please look carefully at your contract. We operate a staggered start in Phase 1. Your child may be starting on Tuesday, 10 August OR Thursday, 12 August.
Following on from our consultation and then decision to adjust the school day, a few parents have asked for a sample of a school day. This image gives an idea of how the day will be structured for learning. Personal timetables for each learner will be issued in August.
As a reminder the school day is as follows:
8.20am to 3.25pm - Monday to Thursday
8.20am to 2.25pm - Friday
Please note there will be no access to school systems such as the Parent Portal, CHQ, Hub and Google Classroom from the 5th of July until just before the start of the new academic year. This is to allow us to restructure our systems and roll learners and teachers forward to their new classes. If you are leaving Nexus, we wish you farewell and safe travels, and remind you that learner and parent accounts will be closed on the first Monday of the holiday - so if you need to download copies of school reports please do so before then.
All leaving learners and parents have been emailed instructions about what to do to extract your work from Google and our other learning systems, but if you have any IT or other systems related questions please email ict@nexus.edu.sg.
The next step for our graduates is to get their results. Results will be issued on the 6th of July, 2021 at 12:00 GMT at https://candidates.ibo.org. All candidates have been given their unique PIN number and will be able to login to view their results. For more information on results, please click this link.
Should any learners have questions about re-marks or Enquiry Upon Results (EUR), they have been asked to contact me at brown.m@nexus.edu.sg. This service involves the re-marking and/or return of examination material. Once component grades have been released, we can assess together the benefit of requesting an EUR. Learners will need to be aware that their grade may be lowered or raised as a consequence of an EUR.
A re-mark is officially called a Category 1 re-mark: A fee of SGD$160 per subject must be paid to the school’s Finance Office before we can process the request. The fee is refunded if the grade is raised. The re-mark is completed in 18 days. If the EUR results in a grade change, candidates will see the updated grade on https://candidates.ibo.org. The final deadline for application for an EUR is September 15th.
Your IB Diploma certificates will be sent to us in September. We will send these on to you via courier for overseas addresses or ask you to pick them up if you reside in Singapore.
