We are really excited to bring to you the first NEXMAS Christmas Singalong. Due to current COVID constraints, our annual Carols Concert has been put on hold. However, we have managed to incorporate 950 learners in 12 Christmas classics and this evening at 6pm, the concert will be live-streamed to you via our Facebook page.
We encourage families whether you are in Singapore or even if you have begun your Christmas travels to tune in and join in with the fun. Gather your family on the sofa, warm up those singing voices and join in the fun. Photos and comments are encouraged as well as tagging us at #NEXMAS or #NEXMASChristmasSingalong.
After the live stream, this will be available to view at your own pleasure on Facebook and we hope that you will share this with your family and friends to share the NEXMAS Christmas cheer.
I would like to personally thank the NEXMAS team for putting this together in what promises to be a great event and from the music team and I, we wish you a wonderful Christmas and hope to see you in the new year.
Visit our Facebook page for the live stream at 6pm tonight, 10 December.

Primary School Semester 1 Learning Summaries are being finalised and are due to be published Thursday, 16 December. You will be able to view them via the Parent Portal. To access the Parent Portal, you will need your unique login and password provided to you by Learner Services.
Please take time to read the information provided on the first two pages as it will help you to better understand the content of the Learning Summary and share its contents with your child.
For learners leaving at the end of this term, do note that you will need to view/download your child's Learning Summary before your Parent Portal account closes.
End of term reports and MYP semester summaries are being finalised and are due to be published on Friday 17th December. You will be able to view them via the Parent Portal. To access the Parent Portal, you will need your unique login and password provided to you by Learner Services.
These data summaries show how your child is progressing against their individual CAT 4 predictive scores in the programme they are studying. You can learn more about CAT 4 by following this link.
Please make sure your child's token has a working battery and is easy to access as they come into school. Scanning QR codes on tokens without working batteries and unpacking bags to find tokens can delay the school's check-in process.
A token with a working battery should flash a light every minute. Please help us to help your child start the day promptly. Replacement tokens can be collected from local community centres.
The IB Examinations run from 29 April to 20 May. Please note that the schedule was updated in July 2021.
IGCSE exam boards publish the examination timetable in December. IGCSE examinations run between the last week in April to 24 June.
Please note examinations may fall on public holidays, during school holidays and in the evenings.
Please note we run parent workshops to support our work with families and guardians as we work together to support both academic success and wellbeing for learners.
These workshops are recorded so if you have missed any of these, you can access them using the link below. You can also access our recent options talks to learn more about the different academic programmes on offer in the secondary school.
With the end of Semester 1 upon us, we have organised our lost and found items such as water bottles, caps, uniforms, clothes, swim bags and pencil cases on the Level 2 walkway, near the Grand Staircase just outside the Aquatics Gym. The items will be on display until the last day of term, Friday 17th December.
Valuable items (EZ-link cards, air pods, jewelry, watches, glasses, calculators, keyboards, to name just a few!) will be kept safe at Learner Services. If you think you have lost something valuable, please contact us at Learner Services and/or come and check with us if your lost item is there.
May we take this opportunity to remind you to name every item, so that we can easily track their owner.
EZ-link cards
We have a large number of unclaimed and unnamed cards (currently about 30!). We advise you to register your child/ward’s EZ link card with the dedicated app. This will allow you to block the card in case it is lost, view all transactions and provide us with the card number to identify it among the ones we have in the lost and found. You can see more information on the app at the following link: https://www.ezlink.com.sg/ezlinkapp/
As many learners hold similar cards (same image/decoration), we will not be able to return cards based only on the image and from now on, we will require you to submit the card number for verification. This is to avoid giving a learner a card that might belong to someone else.
We hope we can reunite as many items as possible with their rightful owners!
Please note that we will dispose or donate to charity anything that hasn’t been claimed by the last day of term.
