Dear Parents and Guardians
As we bring this term and 2021 to a close and as we review the excellent progress our learners have made, we encourage you to discuss the learning summaries and reports that come out at the end of term together. This is a great opportunity to reflect on how your child, our learner is developing academically and how they are growing towards making positive contributions in global society. We really do try to promote holistic growth and want our learners to understand their strengths and areas for development.
It has been lovely to see the community come together for Nexmas Christmas Fair and tonight's Sing-a-long. We would like to thank you, our families and guardians for all the support you have given. It has been wonderful to be able to discuss learning with you at our learning conferences and have your feedback on Canvas and our strategic direction. Thank you to those who give their time in the NCG and the parent panels we frequently need. Partnerships with families are really valued by us.
There has been much anticipation surrounding the up-and-coming break; with much anticipation can come a lot of anxiety. We've noticed an increase in learners needing a little more emotional support in the past few weeks. Over the break, please take the time to reconnect with one another. Play games, have chats, go for walks and re-establish those emotional connections that can become stretched and fraught in times of stress.
We hope you all manage to catch up with family and friends over the break and to learners and families leaving us this term, we wish you all the very best for the next adventure your family takes.
Finally, may we wish you all a safe and happy holiday and to our Christian families, may God bless your Christmas season with joy and love.
Best wishes,
Fiona Lewis, Head of Primary School
Heather Millington, Head of Secondary School
