Family Guidelines

Guidelines

Distance learning is new for some of us and learning at home can come with challenges. Here are some guidelines while your child is at home:

  • Read our Principal's Message.

  • Plan how you are going to make the best of this opportunity together.

  • Set up clear routines and expectations - persevere if the routine doesn't work out and adjust your routines.

  • Have some downtime and rest - reassure them it is going to be okay and give your children attention.

  • Play outside and set up a fitness track/routine.

  • How will you deal with the likely extra stress factors and what other help do you need to help you all work through issues?

  • How will you celebrate successes in your family? e.g. playing nicely, completing a task.

  • Have a balance of work and play.
