Dear New Vision Charter School Families,
My name is Hannah Planansky and I will be supporting your student with the Florida Virtual program. I am eager to work with your student and am happy to get to know your family.
This year is my thirteenth in education and my sixth year at NVCS. During my teaching career I have taught third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades. Not unlike many of you, this will be my first venture into complete online learning! My husband and I live in Johnstown, although I’m a native of Portland, Oregon. We have one child who is starting kindergarten this year. Outside of school I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my friends and family.
I realize that this year is unlike any other in education. As a parent, I too have had to wrestle with decisions and choices that will impact my child and her first steps into education. Please know that I am fully committed to working with you and your child to make this experience the absolute best that it can be.

I have been working at NVCS since November, 2019 as the 3rd Grade Teacher's Assistant. I have been married to my husband for 9 years. We have 2 daughters, Vada is in 3rd grade and Sadie is in Kindergarten.
I spent most of my childhood in Ft. Collins, then opted for school-of-choice at Mountain View High School when it first opened in 2000. This is where I met my husband. We began dating our Senior year, 2002.
In 2015 we were ready to experience the beach life. My husband accepted a job transfer to Pensacola, FL where we lived for 3-and-a-half years. In 2018 my husband was given another amazing opportunity; a transfer to our dream location, Hawaii! We were blessed with living there for about a year when the tough decision came to move back to Loveland, CO to help care for our family.
In my freetime, I love to cook, host dinner parties, travel, make crafts, and have fellowship with others.
