Dear New Vision Charter School Families,

My name is Kendra Pal and I will be supporting your student with the Florida Virtual program in grades Kindergarten, First, and Second. I am eager to work with your student and am excited to get to know you and your family during this semester!

This year is my tenth year in education and my second year at NVCS. During my teaching career I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade and love working with primary students! I have my Master's in Reading and my passion is teaching young children to become confident, life-long readers. Last year I taught First Grade at NVCS and am excited to be transitioning into online learning with Kindergarten through Second Grade.

I realize that this year is unlike any other in education and we are all learning as we go in some respects. Please know that I am fully committed to working with you and your student to make this learning experience the absolute best that it can possibly be!

Email is the quickest and most reliable way to contact me. My email is kpal@newvisioncharterschool.org My phone number is 970-593-6827 extension 1106. If I am on another call, advising session or out of the office, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. My office hours are 8-4 on Monday through Friday. Emails or calls received outside of these times will be answered within 24 hours. Although this is an online program and you are welcome to work on it at whatever time best works for your schedule, I will be available during office hours and within working hours to help in anyway that I can!

K-1 Virtual Learning Teaching Assistant

Dear Parents and Students of New Vision Charter School,

Welcome to Florida Virtual Online!

I'm Mrs. Lesko and I will be working with Mrs. Pal this semester online. We are so glad to have you in our class online and as students at New Vision Charter School

I have been a Teaching Assistant at New Vision since 2006, and have loved every minute of my time spent working with students within the Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms.

My background is in Early Childhood Education. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked with young children for over 30 years. Every year is a new chance to grow and to learn something new, and to create new ways to make learning a joy for the students I work with.

My husband and I have one daughter who is presently in college. My daughter attended New Vision during the third through 8th grade.

I enjoy being a part of the beauty of Colorado wherever I can. My very favorite place is Garden of the Gods. I also love Reading (Historical Fiction or a good mystery), and hosting people in my home. But beware!...If you come over, be prepared to play a game! I love the community that is created around a good board, card or table game!

Although this time we are in presents challenges like no other we have seen before, we are committed to you and your child to make this an amazing year, and to come alongside you to the best of our ability. We will grow so much in this time if we walk and work through it together.
