Above you will see the different tabs with information as well as each grade level page, I will be updating these pages with vocabulary, songs, and videos for each unit, so you can see what your kiddos are learning and even practice at home!
eXPECTATIONS to Soar in SPanish
The expectations for Spanish class are:
Stay in your seat
When others are speaking you are being an active listener (calm body, quiet mouth, eyes on speaker)
Clean up after yourself
Be kind and have fun
Come into my room and leave with calm and quiet bodies
Participate, try, and have fun
This is a safe place to be you and to try a new language
Quarter 4
We are going to be sitting in groups. I have assigned the groups according to personalities and what I think will work best for each class. Each group will be a Spanish speaking country and will be working to following directions, stay quiet, keep their group clean, and will earn and lose points as a group based on their work. This is a great chance for our leaders to shine and help others and for those who need some help to be in a smaller setting for the accountability. The first group in each class to reach 40 points will receive a celebration party with me outside of class time. Also if there is a particular student struggling with the ecpectations on a given day they will be set aside to reflect and fill out a sheet that will be sent home for parents to fill out.
