4th grade

 4th grade is going to be reading their very first chapter book in Spanish!!!  This is a book written by a Spanish teacher who also uses comprehensible input, so think of this as the same ideas as those  beginning reader chapter books we have in English.  We will be doing this together in class and they will also be reading it but always with support.   The book is entitled El Capibara en Botas (the capybara in boots).  This book takes place in the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador so we will also be learning about the rainforest, the regions of Ecuador, as well as learning about capybaras.  I am so excited to embark on this adventure with your kiddos.  They are continually amaazing me.
