This section will demonstrate how lecturers can conduct online classes using Google Meet.
Click on the 'down arrow' icon to view the screenshot for each of the step.
Open your Google Classroom and click Stream and on your left, click Join to enter Google Meet.
Click Join now.
After that, click Start recording.
Note: It is compulsory for all lecturers to record your classes and post the class recording on Google Classroom once the class has ended.
To stop record your class, click More option then click Stop recording.
After that, click Stop recording.
Click End call to end your class.
You can either End the class for everyone or Just leave the call.
Note: If you choose to Just leave the call, only you will leave the Google Meet and the students will remain in the Google Meet.
To view your class recording, you will receive an email from Google Workspace. Below are the items that you will receive:
Class recording
Class attendance
Class chat from Google Meet
Note: Kindly be informed that for class recording, it may take up to 48 hours for the class recording to process.
