We are currently updating our website and videos so a few guiding bit of information to keep in mind:
Some video feature past staff who no longer work for Newton Public Schools, please note the staff changes on the "Meet the Team" page to make sure you are contacting the correct person for follow-up.
MRC (Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission) is now called MassAbility.
Newton's pre-ETS provider is now Easterseals.
The new Massachusetts IEP form (2024 forward) no longer has a TPF, but the Transition planning process is embedded throughout the IEP in a variety of ways.
Going forward we plan to:
Archive old videos for reference.
Update information videos specific to transition planning in Newton.
Add updated and reputable transition planning videos from other resources.
Include past NPS transition related presentations and webinars that are not out-of-date in content.
Develop "playlists" of video content on related topics.
