WISE Program Application Process (done in class):
Fill out the application form.
If you are working with a partner each person must submit his or her own application. Students without a personal application will not be considered for this project.
Type a detailed 1-page proposal, identifying a final product (if any). Also you must include your personal goals and/or educational goals.
Fill out a sample school schedule detailing your day-to-day activities, including classes you will be attending and times you will be working on your project/internship. Please make sure to include after-school activities.
Present your proposal to the WISE Project Committee (in March). Students will be assigned a specific posted date/time to meet with their Dean and guidance counselor. Each student will present his/her project. Students should come prepared to answer questions about their day-to-day activities and how they might present an accumulation of their work at their presentation.
