Celebrating The 250th anniversary of The United States

As we are in the new year,2026 is a very important year. The Semiquincentennial (250th) Anniversary of the country. And this year, on July 4th, it will be 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, the document that declared the United States of independence free as its own country. This year we recognize history, arts, sports, inventions and diversity in the United States. This is especially important for our state, Massachusetts, because many events, such as the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party and the battle of Lexington and Concord made a lasting impact on the nation and the world.
