STUDENTS: CLICK HERE to add yourself to to Day Drama's Schoology group if you are new to the building and haven't used Schoology before! Use code 98R7-22MW-8W2F8 . This group is where students will get information about signups and auditions directly. Interested students MUST be in the Day Drama Schoology Group.
Announcements of participation opportunities may also be on the Day announcements, this website, and Day Drama's social media channels, but the place to go is the Day Drama Schoology Group.
In general - auditions for the musical are immediately after the start of school in September, auditions for the revue (for those not in the musical) are in the beginning of January, auditions for the play are in late February. MAKE SURE YOU ARE CHECKING SCHOOLOGY.
NEXT AUDITIONS ARE IN LATE JAN/EARLY FEBRUARY 2023 for OUR SPRING PLAY (TBA) - scheduled for MAY 2024!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Activity fees are paid directly to the district - submitting your activity fee does not sign your child up to participate in a production, or register their information with Day Drama staff at all... (but thank you for taking care of your NPS Activity Fee!)
Your child should express interest in participating by joining Day Drama's Schoology group, attending the info session, and signing up for an audition, and/or tech training sessions as they are announced.
NPS Middle School Activity Fees: Club and Drama Fees:
$100 for clubs only, $150 for ALL Day Drama participation & all Day clubs - valid for an entire academic year

Online payments for middle school athletics, intramural and clubs.

All of my classes are managed through Schoology (assignments, materials, resources and grading) and can be found at http://schoology.newton.k12.ma.us. I add my students' names to Schoology courses myself, so if you are in a Drama Rotation Class, it will appear on your course list.
If you are working on a show with me, you should use the "group" code you received at audition time to sign up for the show group - remember, "groups" are a different list than "courses" in Schoology.
If you are interested in Tech/Design/Stage Crew - you must attend TECH SESSIONS as scheduled in your Google Calendar. Sign up by joining the Day Drama Schoology group and contacting Mrs. McG!

If you will be working with students while you volunteer, you must have an up-to-date CORI form on file.
You can complete the CORI form at the main office (bring a photo ID) and Ms. Wong or Ms. Fisher can assist you.
