Painting

Painting is a chance to experiment with colors and paints. In the Cabot Art Studio, artists have the opportunity to use thick tempera paints or transparent watercolors. We spend much time playing with colors and finding ways to mix “just right” colors for paintings. Artists learn to identify the primary and secondary colors and the color wheel.
