Clay

Clay is wildly popular among the artists in the Cabot Art Studio. Young artists practice numerous skills and techniques for creating successful clay sculptures. Artists learn to pinch and roll clay into desired shapes using their hands or clay tools. They “scratch and attach” clay pieces together securely using slip. After clay artworks are fired in the kiln, artists paint with glazes to add colors to their works.
