Drawing

The Drawing Center is one of the most popular areas in the Cabot Art Studio. Here, artists find paper, markers, pencils, erasers, colored pencils, chalk pastels, oil pastels, and numerous drawing books. During lessons and sharing time, we discuss skills and techniques such as: using details to tell a story, creating a foreground and background, how to draw by observing carefully, types of lines, and value. Young artists create many types of drawings inspired by observation, imagination, and memories.
