Activities:
Start a respect challenge with your family and mindfully show respect to each family member for each day of the week by using kind words with each other and to yourself Actively listen to each other and ask that others do the same when you have something important to say Follow directions the first time that adults ask Have a safe body with yourself and others
Host a family meeting and discuss how the week went. When you were being respectful, how did that make others feel? When others were showing respect to you, how did that make you feel? If there were times when people weren’t being respectful, how did that feel?

Building challenge: Team up with someone at home. Gather materials from around your house to build a ramp from a table to the floor. Once you build it, see if it is strong enough to roll something (ball, water-bottle etc.) down it.
Decide on a project to do together with your family, as a team. What can you accomplish when you work together? You could create a card for someone, build something (like a fort!), or cook a new recipe! It’s up to you.
Watch Zootopia as a family. Where do you notice teamwork?

Watch how the Burr School community came together as a team to show compassion!
Activities:
Ask your family how you can help at home. Trying a new chore around the house can be helpful (ex. organize Tupperware cabinet, set the table before a meal, clean up after a meal, wash the dishes, fold laundry)
