There are so many Chrome apps and extensions that can be used to enhance learning and make the web accessible to users with disabilities.

Kami is a PDF and document annotating Chrome app. Students may use this app to markup articles, highlight, fill in worksheets and much more.

Any student may add the application through the NPS Self-Service section of the Chrome Web Store.

Mercury Reader is Chrome extension that reduces visual clutter and adds more white space for ease in visual tracking. Users can adjust font and text size, and toggle between light or dark themes.

OpenDyslexic

Screenshot Reader works in conjunction with Read&Write for Google. This feature allows students to instantly listen to inaccessible text. Users click and drag to listen to text that isn't able to be selected with the text-to-speech feature.

Tab Snooze

A Chrome extension that snoozes tabs but allows the user to select a later time for the tab to reappear.
