Restaurant Review

Have you ever been to a place that’s lively and fun, exciting and loud, and cool and jumpy? Well, if that’s what you’re looking for, then Hacienda Tres Amigos is the place for YOU!!!
On Friday we called Hacienda Tres Amigos. I’m glad we called for a reservation because if we hadn’t, that line would have been forever. There was plenty of parking when we got there. It seemed like it could fit about 100 people! Almost everybody paid with credit card. The prices were pretty reasonable ($4.99-$19.99). Everything was Mexican- including the food and the decorations. All over the walls were beautiful collages and Mexican pictures. We sat down in black leather seats in front of bright red tablecloth. It was amazing. Some of the food was made right in front of us while the mariaches musicians were playing loudly. Enough of that, what about the food.
It all started with the appetizers! The nachos were perfect. They were salted just right, crispy, and delicious. I dipped it into the Guacamole. It was the best we've ever had, saucy and great! My little sister ate the Kids Taco. She said it was definitely delicious! She ate it with a side order of French Fries, they were just perfect like an angel from above. I ate the Alambre de Pollo (grilled chicken with a bed of rice). The grilled chicken was salted just right and it was wonderful. On the other hand, the bed of rice was way too sweet and I didn’t like it. My dad ate the Enchilada Tres Amigos. He said it had a little too much sauce, but it was still pretty good. And last, my mom ate the Botana de Carnitos. The meat was too dry and it was disgusting!!! Finally it was dessert time. We saw the flames of the fire while we watched the waiter make the dish in front of us. He was preparing fried ice cream. A superb, sweet, and scrumptious dessert! The food was ok, but the service was spectacular.
As soon as we got there the waiters were waiting for us at the table. We sat down and they immediately asked,”What would you guys like to drink?”. I felt as if I was like royalty. The waiters were around for the whole meal answering any questions we had and suggesting some of their favorite foods. They were a great help and they made me feel rich! The service was surprisingly super. You have no idea!!!
Overall, Hacienda Tres Amigos was great! The food was good, the service was superb, and the occasion was awesome. From a scale of 1-5, I would rate it 4.5. It was great!

Eating My Way Through New Jersey
By AO
Excellent food. Reasonable prices. Stylish hostess. If you are looking for these three things (and much, much more), then Wonder Seafood, located 1984 Lincoln Highway in Edison, NJ is the place for you. It was the place for us too. After trying a number of different restaurants through out New Jersey we finally made our choice. And it was a good choice too.
As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a beautiful hostess, and you are seated so quickly. There is not enough time to take in the wonderful décor, not to mention the live fish and crabs in the aquarium. There is such a rich aroma in the air that it’s almost enough to fill you up, but you should hold your nose because you’ve got a lot of eating to do!
You can choose between ordering from the menu or, choosing food from the carts that come around (the carts have many different small dishes). Before you start asking questions, let me tell you how this place works. The waiters and waitresses come around with carts and plates with little dumplings and rice such as splendid savory shrimp dumplings. If you want the food that comes around on the carts then who ever brought the food will stamp your card so that they know how much you ate and how much to bill you. Remember to get there a little before a normal meal so that you don’t have to deal with the tight parking and long wait, and the slightly messy bathrooms. Still the food was great.
There was a wide variety of different Chinese dishes. You can choose from delectable oysters covered in a rich tangy sauce to spare ribs that were as salty as the sea or fried shrimp. You can also order appetizers and soups from the menu. When you get to your table there is already a kettle of hot tea, but you can also order drinks from the menu.
Once you are done with your food and your plate is empty the servers will come around with the desserts. But instead we went over to Kwality Ice Cream, located 1734 Oak Village Plaza, Oak Tree Rd 08820, not to far away from Wonder Seafood. They have unmatchable unique ice creams. The distinct pictures of ice cream in the walls plus the sweet aroma in the air will make your mouth water. The service here was okay, but at Wonder Seafood it was exceptional.
At Wonder Seafood, the waiters came around when ever your plate was empty and you were never left unserved. Although the drinks took slightly longer than it should have, everybody were treated like kings and queens. The delicious food made us feel even more like royalty.
Overall, Wonder Seafood turned my normally boring lunch outing into a wonderful experience. With fantastic food, superb service, and an awesome atmosphere, Wonder Seafood got 5 stars from me. I hope to be returning soon.
Mandarin Gourmet
By SS
Let me tell you about a wonderful place to spend time with your family. They have nice people and comfortable seating. This place is called Mandarin Gourmet. If you do not like a quiet place or nice people you don’t have to go. But you should!
It takes place in West Roxbury Parkway. My family visited on November 25th. When I stepped in I could already tell it was as elegant as a crystal. They have bamboo on each table and pictures on the walls above each table. I was very amazed. Meanwhile I was checking out the girl’s bathroom. It was very clean, good smelling dry spacious there were 2 toilets.
When I came back from the bathroom my parents were already seated. The waiter gave us our menu there were so many things to choose from. The first thing we ordered were the drinks I ordered was a Shirley temple. Those are my favorite drinks. I got to order the appetizers. I ordered beef Teriyaki and Peking ravioli. They were so delicious. Next came the entrees. We all ordered something different. I ordered mooshi pork and my dad ordered crispy orange chicken and my papa ordered strange flavored chicken my brother just kept on ordering bowls and bowls of rice that’s because he hates Chinese food. We all tried each other’s food. Each dish was spectacular.
This service was great, polite, nice and prompt. They gave us gave us free dessert it was of cookies covered with chocolate with whipped cream on top. When I finished I read a people magazine. Mandarin gourmet was great the place was great and the food tasted spectacular I will return to the restaurant I guarantee it. You should try it some time you’ll have a good time.
