Biotechnology is everywhere in our lives - from new mRNA vaccines to fight novel viruses, to the enzymes that are in our laundry detergent. The Biotechnology Research & Development Pathway at NCCA's STEM Institute will provide you with opportunities to work in a state-of-the-art Biosafety Level 1 laboratory. In the Essentials of Biotechnology and Applications of Biotechnology courses you will learn how to culture bacteria, extract and analyze DNA, and perform protein assays. With our pathway, you will develop the skills you need to join one of the fastest growing industries in the world - with nearly 2 million employees in the US alone, the bioscience industry contributes almost $3 trillion to the USA economy annually. We know you have what it takes to be the next great biotechnologist!
