Before you fill out your NCCA STEM application, we think it's important that you read our program handbook. Please read it carefully and fully. These are the non-negotiable rules and expectations of our program, to which you will be held if you are accepted. If you have questions about any of our policies, please call or email the program director, Dr. Mark Crenshaw at 678-625-6769 or crenshaw.mark@newton.k12.ga.us.

We know it isn't easy, but the next step in this process is to wait. Once the application window closes on March 3, 2023, the selection committee will review applications, and you will be notified if you have been selected for an interview by March 13, 2023.
If you are not selected for an interview, you will be enrolled in and attend your base high school for your 9th grade year. We encourage you to consider applying to attend the Newton College and Career Academy as a college and career pathway student at the end of your 9th grade year. There are over 15 pathways to choose from. Applications for NCCA usually open in January and all rising 10th-12th graders are welcome to apply.
