Getting Started: Here, you will find more about Designing Your Success, reading recommendations, and a giant store of resources to get you set up and prepared before you begin facilitating your local program. Please visit here and review these resources in depth before starting your program.  We expect this will take 2-4 hours, depending on how deep you want to go. 

Course Materials: Navigate to this page and its sub-pages to find the tools and guides you'll need to facilitate each session during the program.  You will need to visit here often, before and during each program session that you deliver. 

Resources: Under this page, you can start planning for further deployment and delivery of Designing Your Success, access helpful tools for your program implementation, and submit your class notes to communicate with the New Sector Alliance team.

Hello, New Sector Alliance Designing Your Success Facilitators!

On behalf of the entire New Sector Alliance team, I am honored to share that we recently completed our initial 2019-2024 Designing Your Success (DYS) pilot program project. Our results and impact are more significant than expected (see data below). We are now rolling out Designing Your Success on an ongoing, long-term basis through our incredible team of project partners and facilitator leaders nationwide, including Accenture, Goodwill, The Boston Foundation, The Institute for Nonprofit Practice, The Longbrake Family Foundation, Serve Minnesota, Year Up, and many others. Your continued leadership and program delivery will enable Designing Your Success to substantively improve the career resilience and lives of thousands of participants from 2025-2030 (and beyond).

Designing Your Success consists of:

1. A world-class, research-based curriculum, training program, and train-the-trainer model that applies design-thinking strategies to substantively improve program participants’ lives by enhancing their: 

   • Career Management, 

   • Career Resilience, 

   • Mindsets, 

   • Skills, and

   • Work Experience.

2. Partnerships with over fifteen social impact partner organizations who are currently scaling the Designing Your Success pilot program nationwide, with a reach to hundreds of communities and organizations across the U.S.; 

3. A network of over twenty talented Designing Your Success Facilitators, all of whom are certified to adapt and deliver the modular Designing Your Success curriculum to serve their diverse and context-specific workforce development needs;

4. Over 2,727 participants (and counting) for whom Designing Your Success has substantively improved their career resilience and lives.

5. Over 5,458 participants (and counting) connected to and impacted by our Designing Your Success programming that has been delivered across the U.S.;

6. A commitment to the long-term, ongoing delivery of the Designing Your Success program to new participants and partner organizations for the next five years (2025-2030) and beyond.
