For eligible Support Staff, Public Employees Retirement Fund (PERF) is a mandatory retirement savings program, managed by the Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS).
Hybrid Plan - The school district participates in the hybrid plan, and funds the defined benefit (pension). The 3% mandatory contribution into the defined contribution account is paid by the employee. Employee may also contribute up to 10% additional in post-tax contributions. Employee is immediately vested in the defined contribution account, and is vested in the pension plan after 10 years of TRF covered service. (See flier below for details.)
