NEWESD 101 educators may apply through a combination of ways:
Share a little about the work you have done or are doing now in your class/school/district/org
Complete tasks (like these) that dive into the various focus areas specified in the application criteria
Enlist an educational leader to provide a brief recommendation (video/audio preferred)
Notably, applicants will be asked:
For each of the following questions, capture your thinking in 200-300 written words or 1-3 minutes of audio/video.
You the learner: Describe what you are like as a learner and how that's connected to the experiences of your students.
Your learning focus: Share a highlight in your journey as a learner in one or more of the focus areas for Dream Camp (#ai-learning-tools, #building-thinking-classrooms, #curriculum, #learning-to-human, #assessment-for-learning). See the application criteria for more detail.
Preliminary Plan of Action: Applicants will describe a potential project or initiative they wish to develop or enhance through participation in Dream Camp. This should include how it aligns with the focus areas of the camp and the impact anticipated on their educational community.
