LINC Instructor - LINC 3
Patti pursued teaching English as a Second Language because she had always been interested in the stories of newcomers to Canada. In addition to her BA in Speech Pathology, she completed her TESOL certification in 2015 from the University of the Fraser Valley. She began working with New Directions in November of that year and taught there for several years. While completing her certification, she volunteered at English Studies for Life in Canada for three years. Interaction with her students was the highlight of her day. Patti has now retired from teaching but continues to cherish the connections she made with her students and the community.
