politics (new course)

Politics is everywhere. It is life. We might not always realise it, but politics defines us all.

A- Level Politics is lively, relevant and controversial! You will learn about current affairs from the US and the UK; understand how a country is governed; and develop key skills such as debating, communication and research.

Who is it for?

It’s ideal for anyone who has enjoyed History or Geography at GCSE and/ or anyone looking to study social sciences or Humanities at University- but you don’t need to know loads about politics already! If you are interested in current affairs and enjoy debating and arguing your ideas, this is the course for you!
