Do you have an upcoming test/quiz to prepare for? These resources may be referenced to gain ideas on how to review information to study for a test/quiz. Methods work differently for everyone so it's important to try various options to find the one that suits your learning style.
GPA (Grade Point Average) is used in middle schools and high schools to calculate an overall academic performance. GPA is calculated by applying all grades for each class to determine the overall average.
At NMS, GPAs can range anywhere from 0.0 to 4.0. The higher the academic grades, the higher the GPA.
Each quarter, NMS hosts an Honor Roll event to recognize students that earned a quarterly GPA anywhere between a 3.0-4.0.
If students would like to work towards making the Honor Roll, they should be sure to complete the following to help increase their chances of raising their GPA for Honor Roll eligibility:
Thoroughly complete & submit all assignments on time
Study for tests/quizzes/assessments
Participate in class
Seek support/help from teachers if/when needed
Request a meeting with assigned school counselor for additional planning/goal setting
Did you misplace your I.D. card? If so, replacements are available. You may go to the main office during brunch or lunch time and there will be a $5.00 fee replacement.
