In middle school, your grades for each class are determined by the average of the points you earn on assignments. This might be different from how your elementary school assigned grades. This means you will be responsible for keeping track of late work and making up work you missed when you were absent. You can check your scores on assignments and see what work is marked as missing by looking at your ProgressBook account. ProgressBook is the online gradebook system that both you and  your parents can use to keep track of your assignments and grades.
