Reflection about the project:
My design is a good choice for urban space because the school gives students a place to grow and learn, and without the school the students wouldn’t have that opportunity. A school is a great place for students to learn new things, socialize with each other, and get skills that will benefit them when they are older.
The middle school I designed will help the Jewish community by providing Jewish children a place to grow and learn. If all the Jewish kids went to a public school, then not only would they not know about any of the holidays and mitzvot, but they would also not feel very connected to their jewish roots and most likely stop being religious. By building a Jewish school, it continues to spread torah and mitzvot, and continues to educate Jewish children.
In this activity I mostly enjoyed designing the school. It was really fun to see what I could add to make the school more fun and enjoyable, like which desks looked the most comfortable, and where I should put the plants. This activity made me think a lot about how designers actually design schools so that they are both practical and affordable. I realized that we should respect objects that we use in school, like desks, a lot more, because somebody spent a lot of time, money, and effort into making this school an enjoyable place to live in. The thing that I found the most challenging was all the tiny details. It was really fun to do, but I spent a lot of the time choosing the floor and wall colors and I really wish I had more time to finish everything up.

Mall Design
This is my reflection of me designing the inside of the mall and my thoughts about it of the things I enjoyed and the things that were difficult.
My design is a great choice for urban space because it takes lots of stores that we need, and compacts all the stores into one place. A mall is a great place for people to interact with each other and for people to have fun. They could buy things they need for there house like lamps, toys, and lawnmowers. It is a great place for all your needs.
This will be helpful for the Jewish community because when we need to hang out together or have something happen here we can use this space. There is a lot of empty space so people can be with each other. It is great also for Saturday nights when we want to hang out together like to get ice cream or pizza.
In this activity I mostly enjoyed getting to be able to design what a mall looks like. I love designing things, and I usually never really get to design much so this was really fun for me. I also enjoyed in the end where I got to be able to put everything together and see how much I've done. I found challenging all the little details because sometimes I couldn't get everything in the exact right spot that I wanted them to be in. It was a very tedious process but I pushed through and did it. This made me think about all the different malls I've been to and the different types of stores there are.

I believe that a Futbal Stadium in our city is important to let the citizens enjoy a sport. The Futbal Stadium has many stores inside including a club store. This will let people get together to cheer on their favourite team. You can come here any time with your family for a game or concert. All the stores in the stadiums for food are kosher which means that no Jew does not have food. The team does not play on Shabbat so everyone can come to the game. The stadium holds 9000 people which means most a quarter of the city came fit.
The stadium can be used by most of the citizens. The away fans will also be coming so not all citizens will be able to fit. This is a stadium for everyone no matter the gender.
Ariel: I really liked that fact that it was hands on and I got what I wanted to build. I really liked the fact that I could build a Futbal Stadium to bring Israel's favourtite sport. The stadium took time but I liked it. It was really fun to look for a name for it.
Sammy: The stadium has a large capacity of 9000 people there are 30 rows with 30 sections with 10 seats. The stadium is called המאלס טייגריס. I enjoyed helping Ariel with the capacity of the stadium.

We think that our community center is very necessary for an urban center because it is a very good place for the community to interact,get to know each other better, and have a better relationship with the city and one another. It is also a very fun space to go with your friends or just in your free time because you can play basketball, watch new movies, you can make custom plates, mugs, cups, and things like that at the pottery place and at the Art section you can paint a picture for someone or just do it as a gift for someone because if you ask us, Pottery or Art would be a very meaningful gift, or you could just do it for fun. It is nice for the Jewish community especially because the food in the cafeteria is all kosher and amazing.
We think that our space will not be used by all citizens but will be used by most. The reason we think that is because we feel that people a bit younger would enjoy pottery, art, movie theatres, and basketball more than elders. But a lot of elders might still like to do art and pottery and maybe basketball and go to the movies. Also, the cafeteria is a very good place for elders to meet up and eat.
Aaron: This task made me think about community centres in my area. For example the JCC has places you can eat, a nice basketball court, and a place where you could do art. What I liked about this task was building with cardboard and other items to make it. What I found challenging about this task was trying to get the basketball net a good structure so it would stay up, and cutting all the doors so you could get around, so I asked a friend to help me cut doors. Eli: I think that the most challenging part about this project was building the community center. Also, building the chairs for the movie theater was very challenging because if we made 1 mistake then we would have to start all over again, I even hot glued myself by mistake. Anyways, the point is that I think it was very challenging hot gluing all the walls, floors and hot gluing everything else.
