Thoughts on the WebQuest....

Information on me!

My thoughts on this WebQuest were to give the students a chance to be creative but still learn. I wanted the students to feel a sense of someone depending on them. "Amanda" was writing a letter specifically to my class to have them help her. I decided that the end product should be the same for all 5th graders however, I made sure to place different levels of resources based on the human body system. I wanted everyone to feel included and excited about this project. I used science as my integrated standards because adding creativity into the equation makes science learning more fun.

My name is Itzel Franco Medina. I am a junior at Elmhurst University, and my major is Elementary Education. I am also working on my TEL minor, as well as receiving my Bilingual Endorsement as well. This semester I am placed in a 5th grade Dual-language classroom.
