The annual NESST conference has grown to become an unparalleled platform through which ESS Volunteers, emergency management personnel, Indigenous/First Nations representatives, and emergency response organizations have the opportunity to build connections and share knowledge of how to work together during a disaster in a way that is respectful, supportive and collaborative.

For easiest access, enter campus via the West Gate entrance at McGill Road and Hillside Drive. Follow the road into campus until you reach the large traffic circle marked by the orange TRU WolfPack flag. Continue approximately three-quarters around the circle and take the exit—the Campus Activity Centre will be on your right.
Parking Information
Parking is free on weekdays after 5:00 PM and free on weekends.
Paid parking is in effect Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM:
Lot N (Economy Lot): $5.00/day
Lots H & J: $6.50/day
Attendees are instructed to park in Lot J, Lot N, or Lot H.
Please note, Lot J is the closest to the CAC and should be reserved for mobility impaired attendees. It is a visitor lot with a 2-hour limit; however, attendees may park there for the full day by using the provided QR code (available in advance or at the registration desk) to override the time restriction.
Lots N and H are designated full-day parking lots.
Conference delegates may use their 2026 NESST Conference badge as a complimentary Kamloops transit pass on regularly scheduled local transit services from April 16 at 1600 hrs through April 19 at 1700 hrs for transportation to and from Thompson Rivers University, Campus Activity Centre.
