Editor's Note
Since our last publication, a lot has changed. This last publication is an ode to our senior year. Many of the artists featured in our newest Literary Magazine are seniors graduating in June 2020. Our high school experience has been unique. Not only because of the special things NESA has to offer but also from the relationships we’ve formed. In the past few months, a lot has changed. It is currently May 19th, 2020 as we release our very last magazine of the 2019-2020 school year. We would like to thank our fabulous staffers, Amaya Nakpodia, Drew Messer and Andy Dorsey. We would also like to thank the underclassmen, because without them this journal would have not been possible. Thank you for letting us mold you into the writers you have all become. There have definitely been times each of us have given up or felt down just to enter the creative writing room and have our day transformed merely by the energy of the ones surrounding us. Not being able to see each other and work together in person has taken a toll on us all, and though we part ways after now, the bond remains the same. It breaks my heart not to be able to finish out the year the same way past senior classes have, but we will take adversity in stride as we always have, and keep moving forward.
Congratulations to the Creative Writing Class of 2020:
Amaya Nakpodia
Drew Messer
Jack Dorsey
Leyla Anderson
Anna Carmona
Joshua Aguirre
May we all succeed and cross paths soon.
...
Sincerely,
Your co-editors, Leyla Anderson and Anna Carmona
