SCIENCE

Trust that You know more than you think you do. --Benjamin Spock

We are in our final week of our Countdown to STAAR Review! This week we will focus on four science categories:

 Category 1: Matter and Energy

Category 2: Forces and Motion

Category 3: Earth and Space

Category 4: Organisms and the Environment

The 8th grade Science STAAR test will be administered on April 16th, this will give us two weeks to review material from 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Approximately 40% of the 8th grade STAAR test consists of 6th and 7th grade material and the other 60% is 8th grade.
We will be working on reviewing content through vocabulary games, stations, and interactive activities.

Tutoring is offered on Mondays and Fridays from 3:45-4:15.

The day of reckoning is nigh!

The US History STAAR approaches!!

The US History STAAR is on April 18th, which means it's time for you historian to start an in-class review of this year's material. I encourage your historian to study on their time too. They have the notes that they have been taking all year. Methods of studying can include rewriting notes, rereading notes, creating flashcards, having someone else quiz you, ect. I have also provided, in Classroom, all of my slides, and a Gimkit over the year's material. Your historian has also received a laminated blue study sheet with the most commonly tested items. This is a great resource to quiz your historian :D.

Happy Studying!
