Algebra: Unit F exam over solving inequalities will be on Friday, December 8. Students are welcome to attend tutorials after school Thursday to prepare for the test.

Geometry: Unit 5 assessment will be a performance task. Students will transform shapes to create an image and explain how the coordinates are affected. They will have two days to complete this task: Thursday and Friday December 7 and 8.

SCIENCE

"The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." - Nelson Mandela

Last Friday we took our unit exam on Atoms and Periodic Table.

This week we will delve into chemical formulas. We will look at elements in chemical formulas and practice counting atoms. Students will learn what a subscript and coefficient is in a chemical formula.

This will lead us into chemical equations and determining whether chemical reactions are balanced or unbalanced based on the number of atoms on both the product and reactant side.

Tutoring is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, students can attend from 7:45-8:15 am.

U.S. History through 1877

We are Living History!

📜📜📜📜📜📜📜📜📜📜📜

It's week 10 billion of our government unit and it is almost over! Thank the stars!

Your historian will spend this week learning about bears having arms!  Wait, that can't be right...Oh! They are learning about the Bill of Rights! That's right, we're diving into the first 10 amendments to the Constitution and learning about yelling "fire" in a crowded movie theatre.

On Friday, the 8th your historian will take their Unit 3 Government Test. I don't want to scare anyone, but other than their STAAR, this will be the most difficult test that they take this year.

Please encourage your historian to study; this is a tricky unit because it has a lot of unfamiliar vocabulary. I will be posting a review Blooket that they can play as many times as they need to. It would also be beneficial for them to look back over the government slides I have posted in Classroom.
