ELAR 7th Grade
Honors and GT English
This week we will continue reading the novel Down a Dark Hall. Students will be responsible for five study guide questions for each chapter, these questions will be posted on Google classroom. There will be an Exam on the novel once we have finished reading in class.
MATH
7th Grade Honors
This week we will practice writing and graphing linear functions in y=mx+b and compare proportional and non proportional functions.
Algebra 1
This week find equations of linear functions when given 2 points and graph linear equations from standard and point slope form

7th grade Honors SCIENCE
Classroom wish list ;-)
This week we are continuing our introduction to body systems. Over the next grading term, we will be learning about 11 different body systems. Students will be responsible for knowing the structures and function of each as well as the major organs and interactions among each system. We will be introducing several this week with an interactive lab.
End of Grading term is Friday 10/ 13. Any Late/Missing work must be turned in by Tuesday 10/10 to be considered for credit.

Honors Texas History
This week students will be analyzing primary and secondary sources to determine how Mexico worked towards independence. Sources will include a speech and painting.

This week students are working on their Magazine or Cereal Box project. They are using the graphic design principles they learned to create this project. This is the last project of the current 9 weeks.

This week students are going to continue to learn about Career Exploration. We will focus on the components of applying for a job. We will practice creating a Resume, Cover Letter, and a Thank you letter. We will also role play and discuss professional language versus casual language. In addition, we will be sprinkling in SPOOKY Photoshop projects to sharpen our skills and have a lot of FUN!
