ELAR 7th Grade
Honors and GT English
This week we will be working on their first project of the year on the novel, Animal Farm. Students will be having their comprehensive exam on Animal Farm, September 15, 2023.

MATH
7th Grade Honors
This week math class will be working on Algebra I concepts including solving equations and inequalities with distribution.
Our last test is 5/21 (solving equations and inequalities)
Algebra 1
Algebra class will be working on geometry concepts including Pythagorean theorem and finding angle measures.
Semester exam is 5/28 and 5/29
Tutoring on Thursday and Friday from 3:45 to 4:15pm.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE
This week we will continue learning about the cell organelles. Students will have the opportunity to show their creativity with their "Sell a Cell" project where they create a product modeled after one of the organelles we've been learning about. we will also start talking about Cell Theory and the history behind the discovery of the cell. Ask them about the Cell Rap Song!! :-)

Honors Texas History
This week the students will be comparing and contrasting primary and secondary sources. We will also analyze maps and charts.

Hello wonderful parents and students, this week we will continue sharpening our newly learned text effect skills by creating a poster for our "client." Students will meet one more time with their "client" to make sure they are on the same page with the product they want created, and then they will create the product using Photoshop and the text effects we have been practicing.
