ELAR 7th Grade

Honors and GT English

Students will continue working on their Anthology Project. The due date for project is May 17th, this counts as two test grades. Please check in with students as this is counts as a major grade.

Extra credit is available for all student who desire to raise their average this last grading period. Anything extra, outside of the set requirements for their Anthology project, will give them extra points added to their average. Please encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity.

MATH

7th Grade Math Honors

This week we will continue practicing algebra I concepts including solving equations and inequalities. Final Test is 5/21.

Algebra I

This week we will continue practicing geometry concepts including pythagorean theorem to solve for angles and side lengths. Semester exam is 28th n 29th.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE

Classroom wish list ;-)

This week we will continue to talk about human impact on the environment and what we can to to help preserve our planet. Students will begin working on a research project and creating an infographic to bring awareness to their chosen topic.

Honors Texas History

This week we will start our discussion about Civil Rights. We will examine court cases, learn how students stood up against segregation, and how we are still struggling in the pursuit of equity for all.

Digital Media

Students are creating a Digital Media Reel of all their design work. They are using their Knowledge of Adobe Premiere to create a video reel that they can use on their websites and portfolios to show off everything they can do from graphic design to video editing.

Semester Exam is Tuesday May 21st. Students have a Review posted on GC.
