This week we will continue to work on our Anthology project, this is where students can demonstrate everything they have learned throughout the year and showcase their creativity.

We made it past STAAR and your patience and hard work is recognized! So now what? Well... here comes Algebra I.

Thank you for all your hard work preparing for and taking the STAAR. With the little time we have left we will have a semester exam as well as begin Geometry!

This week we are talking about the impact that we have on our environment and the importance of preserving our planet. We will also learn about our watershed and how what we do at home, can impact others.

Honors Texas History
This week we will work on the Dust Bowl document based questions. We will be focused on what caused this event in history and just how widespread it was. We are starting this a little later than anticipated as we spent time preparing for the 1920's project.

Digital Media
Students are learning about Advertising Techniques. Students will then use these techniques to advertise a made up product.
Then we will be moving on to putting all of their design and evaluation skills to use when they get to Re-design a project they've done this year. They will apply everything learned and use the new skills they've picked up in Digital Media.

This week we will continue learning tools of Adobe Animate! Students are making great progress and creating amazing products. This week we will finish up our F7/F6 animations. We might have a pop quiz as well, focusing on the tools and technical vocabulary of Adobe Animate.
