ELAR 7th Grade
Honors and GT English
This week we will continue to work on our Anthology project, this is where students can demonstrate everything they have learned throughout the year and showcase their creativity.
MATH
7th Grade Math Honors
Here we go! The Math STAAR is this Tuesday, 4/23. We will continue to review on Monday, but please have your student get LOTS of rest.
Algebra I
The Algebra 1 STAAR EOC is on Tuesday April 23. This is the required math EOC to graduate high school and so will be the last STAAR for math these students have to take! Please encourage them to get lots of rest before the test.

This week we are finishing up our Catastrophic Event/Succession Unit and will be taking our end of unit assessment and moving into human impact on the environment and ways that we can help preserve our planet.

Honors Texas History
This week week we will be analyzing primary and secondary sources to determine what caused the Dust Bowl and just how bad life was during this time period.

Digital Media
This week students are combining their knowledge of EVERYTHING (graphic design principles, typography, and photoshop) to design a movie poster for their "how to" videos. Then we will be moving on to putting all of their design and evaluation skills to use when the get to Re-design a project they've done this year. They will apply everything learned and use the new skills they've picked up in Digital Media.
