7th grade Honors SCIENCE

This week we will be learning about ecological succession, or the predictable process in which an ecosystem recovers from a catastrophic event. We will have a presentation from the Texas Wildlife Association on Monday about Stewarding Soil.

Honors Texas History
This week we will compare WWI with WWII. WE will look at technological advantages and warfare. We will also discuss how Texas contributed to WWII.

This week we are continuing to learn about the history of Film and Cinema. We will look at examples of early cinema from silent films through the digital age and compare and contrast the film making processes and quality.

This week students will continue exploring Adobe Animate. Animation is not easy. I'm proud of all the hard work students are putting into this unit! We will practice creating motion tweens and the students will need patience as animating requires a lot of attention to detail.
