ELAR 7th Grade
Honors and GT English
We have our first assessment scheduled for Friday, September 1st. It will be a comprehensive assessment on our summer reading, The Refugee.
We will be reading a novel, Animal Farm, throughout the week in class. Please check Google Classroom for deadlines. There will be open ended questions for every Chapter.

7th Grade Honors
Hello. This week we ordered real numbers from least to greatest and learned to convert to and from scientific notation to standard form. So results on Today's test are pretty good.
Algebra 1
Hi. This week we continued practicing solving equations with distribution and the variable on both sides. We also learned and practiced solving inequalities. So far so good on today's quiz.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE
Hello!! This week we will start our Cells unit. We will begin with a discussion on what makes something alive or not? And a review of the Biological levels of Organization. Once we have a solid understanding of those, we will begin to talk about the organelles that make up cells!!

Honors Texas History
This week we will be finishing up talking about the Early People of Texas and moving on to the Spanish making contact with those people. We will complete a DBQ in class which will count as a test grade.

This week in Digital Media we will be Applying our knowledge of Typography to real world examples, using illustrator and photoshop.
There will also be a Typography Quiz on Tuesday of this week.
