ELAR 7th Grade
Honors and GT English
This week we will begin STAAR review. We are scheduled to take the Reading STAAR on April 9th. Reading at home is HIGHLY encouraged.
MATH
7th Grade Math Honors
This week we will begin reviewing for the STAAR. We will start with solving equations, scientific notation and ordering numbers.
Algebra I
This week we will begin reviewing for the Algebra STAAR test. We will begin with solving multi-step equations and solving inequalities.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE
Classroom wish list ;-)
This week we will continue our studies of Energy Transfer in an Ecosystem, including food webs, food chains, the energy pyramid and the 10% rule. We will also be taking about how these look different in different biomes. We will have a quiz over energy transfer towards the end of the week!

Honors Texas History
This week we will be completing the Oil Project in class. All materials will be provided in class. We will complete some notes which will help the students be successful on their project.

This week we will wrap up our "How-To" video project that the students have been working on for weeks. We will host a film festival in class where the students will be able to watch their complete projects and enjoy their accomplishment. Then we will move on to a mini unit on the history of Film and Cinema.

This week students will continue to explore fashion trends and how they connect to the elements and principles of design. Students will be allowed to work with a team to take donated clothes and make a new look, then we will have a fashion show to celebrate! Students will be assigned different roles to make sure everyone participates in the process. SEND ME A BABY/TODDLER PIC FOR EXTRA CREDIT!
